Verstappen and Hamilton make it exciting: 'Wouldn't even bet 5 euros'

Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are making Formula 1 fans feast their eyes on the races this season. Red Bull Racing and Mercedes are evenly matched, making it a question of which team is stronger in each race. Although Verstappen is well ahead in the world championship, that doesn't mean he'll be ahead for the rest of the season.
Alexander Wurz also enjoyed the exciting races that have taken place in recent months. "Who can win the world title? I wouldn't even bet 5 euros," the president of the drivers' union (GPDA) told FormulaPassion.it. "It can easily happen that someone loses his patience or is unlucky, or that someone else takes it. If nobody makes mistakes, it will be an exciting championship until the last Grand Prix."
Secretly, Wurz hopes that even more teams will join the top. "As a drivers' association, we have always said that when the cars are close together, Formula 1 is a gigantic sport. We would also like to see two or three more teams in the fray at the top. Imagine what kind of championship it would be if Ferrari and McLaren were there too."
World titles Mercedes
Mercedes captured all the championships in the last seven years. While Hamilton won six world titles at Mercedes, only teammate Nico Rosberg managed to beat the Englishman in 2016.
