No new development for Red Bull in Austria: 'Short of spare parts'

This weekend Pirelli will bring a special set of tyres to test a new type of rear tyre. On Friday in Austria, the teams will also get the chance to drive the new prototypes. If the test goes well for the Italian tyre company the new tyre will be used from the British Grand Prix onwards.
Christian Horner explains to Sky Sports the initial feedback from Red Bull Racing's drivers. "Obviously slightly different in feeling. It's a different compound to their earlier run. It's still early days, lots of data but so far reasonably okay". During the interview, Paul di Resta noticed that Red Bull installed a new front wing on Max Verstappen's car.
Reserves for Red Bull
Horner confirms that the new front wing is not a new development at Red Bull. "You do go through front wings aggressively here. We've got some variants that we've tried previously so it's all about tuning the car into the track conditions. It's not an upgrade. Mainly it's replenishing spares, building up spare supplies."
"Trying to get a little bit of performance out of every part of the car we can. That does leave you short of spares like we were last weekend and that's why we are replenishing this weekend," Horner concluded.
