Perez positive: 'We have a good position for tomorrow'

Sergio Perez will start tomorrow in fourth place. Unfortunately, Max Verstappen's teammate was unable to make a final run, failing to cross the finish line in time.
"At that point, we thought we had enough margins to continue. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I still had plenty of time in the car. If you take one corner well here, you have a lot of time. We have a good position for tomorrow," Perez told the Sky Sports camera.
Mercedes were very strong
Mercedes were very fast in qualifying, especially in Q3. However, both Mercedes drivers will start on a different strategy than Red Bull Racing, which is on the medium tyre.
"I hope we can put a lot of pressure on them [Mercedes]. They were very, very strong today. There was a bit more pace in them. We hope to have a good start and go from there," Perez said.
