Bottas departs: 'Maybe that's to create an opening again'

Max Verstappen is competing for the world championship with Red Bull Racing this season. However, his teammate Sergio Pérez cannot match the Dutchman and is currently outside the top three in the world championship.
Kees van de Grint defends the Mexican in RTL Slipstream. The analyst points out that it is difficult to drive for Red Bull during these years. "It's not easy to sit next to Verstappen and I think he's done a good job anyway. For now, it's the best second man for years," he judged.
Pérez is not the only driver struggling at a top team, however, as Valtteri Bottas' position is reportedly not solid either. The Finn could therefore be replaced by George Russell. "Those noises I hear from England are getting louder and louder. Maybe that's to create an opening again", Van de Grint keeps the situation in the middle.
Belgian Grand Prix
The battle for third place continues this weekend in Belgium. For now, Lando Norris is in third place with 113 points, while Bottas has five points less. Pérez is then four points behind the Finnish driver.
