Rosberg: 'Verstappen's lap was spectacular'

Max Verstappen performed very well on Saturday afternoon during the Dutch Grand Prix. The Dutchman set the fastest time in qualifying and secured himself the front row of the grid for Sunday's race.
The Red Bull Racing driver showed his skills in the third free practice session by setting the fastest lap of the session and was hard to beat in qualifying. Lewis Hamilton made a last-ditch effort in the closing stages of the session but was unable to beat his rival.
Nico Rosberg enjoyed Verstappen. The 2016 world champion saw that the Dutchman is hardly beatable. "Verstappen's lap was spectacular," he told Sky Sports. "Max was in incredible form. He has so much self-confidence at the moment and just flies around the track. If everything goes as expected, his competitors will have a hard time catching him."
Verstappen and Hamilton in world championship race
Following his victory at the GP of Belgium, Verstappen is still just three points behind Hamilton in the world championship. A victory by Verstappen would therefore ensure that he recaptures the lead in the championship.
