Bottas saw Hamilton go in: 'So no drama'

Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton were in the spotlight during the Dutch Grand Prix, but Valtteri Bottas also did well. The Finnish driver maintained his third place and ended up on the podium.
At the FIA press conference, he paid his compliments to Verstappen. "I think Red Bull and Max had an upper hand today on the pure pace. For me quite early on committed to one-stop. So it meant I knew that I couldn't push the tire too much and managing especially in the high-speed corners. And tried to play the long game. But it was quite a bit slower today."
Bottas surprised on Sunday afternoon by suddenly setting the fastest race lap at the end of the race, forcing his teammate Hamilton to make a pit stop. "I knew Lewis was going to stop as well. That information I had and I knew that with decent amount of lifting in the last sector he will get it. So no drama."

Verstappen's first place puts the Dutchman back on top in the world championship. The Red Bull Racing driver has three points more than his British rival.
