Verstappen and Ricciardo joke again: 'He's won enough races already!'

The sprint race ended on a remarkably positive note for Max Verstappen, who will start from pole position tomorrow, with former teammate Daniel Ricciardo alongside him. The two already have wild plans for the start.
Mercedes were supreme in qualifying yesterday, so the sprint race looked to be a tough one for Max Verstappen. He was only able to get past rival Lewis Hamilton right away. "It was important to get that good start. Lewis obviously didn't have a good start. After the restart, I tried to follow Valtteri, but they just have a bit more pace. I really tried to get close, but it wasn't enough," Verstappen explained to Sky Sports F1's camera.
It's just that it's not Mercedes' cars that the Dutchman will be up against at the start of the Italian GP, but rather the McLarens. They got away well on the soft tyre during the start race, which makes for a tricky strategic choice for Red Bull Racing. "I don't know yet. We'll have to see tomorrow, because after the start they had a lot less pace compared to us. Also, the soft tyre does give a bit more grip at the start, but we have to think about the long term."
"If Daniel and Lando are behind me after turn one and two, then I won't have to worry about that anymore. It's nice to finally be back on the front row of the grid with Daniel though. He's already had a good weekend, so let's hope they can hold that position for a long time tomorrow," jokes the Dutchman.
Jokes between Max and Daniel
Not much later, Daniel Ricciardo joins Verstappen's interview as well, which soon turns into a lot of jokes and antics from the two former teammates. "We just give the fans what they want to see: Max and Daniel back together on the front row of the grid!"
