Hamilton doubted he would ever win another Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton reached a new milestone at the Russian Grand Prix. With his 100th Grand Prix victory, he is the first driver in history to have three digits on the counter. Although this achievement seemed inevitable, Hamilton is still relieved to have achieved it.
Norris was lightning fast
“I’ve been on 99 a long time," said the Mercedes driver in front of the Ziggo Sport camera. "It just felt like number 100 was never going to happen. So many things were always getting in the way. So I’m grateful that the heavens opened today. I’m not sure we would’ve got past Lando had it not rained. He was so fast and it’s a very hard track to overtake on as well.”
Hamilton's last victory dates back to July 18, when he won the British Grand Prix. So it hasn't been that long, but two months will feel like an eternity in the world of Formula 1. Especially for a driver who is used to winning as much as Hamilton.
