Bottas wants to end time with Mercedes well: "Hope Lewis wins the title"

After much deliberation, the decision was made. Mercedes decided to trade Valtteri Bottas in for the young George Russell, but not before making sure the Finn had found a new team. This team became Alfa Romeo, where he will replace another Finn, Kimi Raikkonen.
Expectations at Alfa Romeo
So far Ferrari 's subsidiary team has not been able to break much of a mould in the current F1 season. Bottas sees this too, but is not too worried: "I know they haven't developed the car too much this year, so they haven't made much progress. But I know the efforts they are making for the future, so I am not too worried."
"It was a given that they couldn't make much progress this season. Next year it will be different, the cars will change and I am sure the results will improve," Bottas said at the Italian [Corriere Dello Sport. Who will sit next to Bottas next year is still unclear. Giovinazzi is currently fighting for his spot, but feels the breath of Zhou, De Vries and Pourchaire in his neck.
Mercedes trajectory to end well
Bottas has not drawn a line under his time at Mercedes, however, and is hoping to have some more success at the team: "I want to win again, and I want to bring home the fifth constructors' title for the team. If I don't have to win the championship, then I want Lewis to win it. But I still have a big motivation, I want individual results."
