Max Verstappen did not have a very strong Friday at Istanbul Park. In the first free practice he finished second, but in the second practice, he finished fifth. He hopes Red Bull Racing can find the right set-up for Saturday.
Not a strong Friday for Red Bull
He may have finished the first practice session second, but the Dutchman says he's not satisfied with that session either. "We tried a few things compared to FP1, but FP1 wasn't that great," he told Sky Sports.
"We are still looking around a bit for what to do and of course it's a bit different here because we don't have a lot of data here with these kinds of cars," continued the Red Bull driver, who hopes his team can resolve the problems before Saturday. "We have a bit of an evening ahead to make everything better."
The 24-year-old Limburger does enjoy the track, especially now that it offers a normal grip level compared to last year. "It's a super nice track with these normal conditions. Hopefully, it will improve or it's not looking too good. But we will see what we can do overnight," Verstappen concluded.
