Van Amersfoort racing to be the second Dutch team in Formula 3 next season

Next season in Formula 3 there will no longer be just one Dutch team on the grid. Van Amersfoort Racing will also race during the F1 weekends. F3 announced the entries for the new season today.
The Dutch racing team has been active in Formula 3 for several years and now returns to the highest class. Max Verstappen competed in the European Formula 3 Championship with Van Amersfoort, after which he was immediately offered a F1 contract by Red Bull. Famous F1 names Charles Leclerc and Mick Schumacher also drove for Van Amersfoort, as did Jos Verstappen.
The Dutch MP Motorsport has been racing in Formula 3 since 2019. Starting next season, F3 will run two races per weekend during as many Formula 1 weekends as possible.
A lot of passion for F3
"Racing is our passion, so it's no secret that we are hugely looking forward to our move into FIA F3. It is something I am extremely passionate about and am really looking forward to getting back on the Formula 3 grid with my team", says founder Frits van Amersfoort on the Dutch branch of Motorsport.com.
"We are obviously looking forward immensely to competing in the FIA Formula 3 Championship next year. We take this challenge extremely seriously and will do everything we can to progress", adds CEO Rob Niessink.
