'I hope Mercedes will explain it to us in detail'

It is raining grid penalties for the teams and drivers who have opted to take the power source from Mercedes. Only for Lance Stroll and Lando Norris the penalties don't apply for the time being. McLaren team boss Andreas Seidl demands an explanation from Mercedes.
Rumbling at Mercedes engines
Mercedes are having reliability issues with their engines. Both Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas have already dipped into the spare parts, but customer teams are also taking one or more grid penalties for changing engine parts during the United States Grand Prix.
For Norris the problems still don't apply, but team boss Seidl is not reassured. Motorsport-total.com quoted the team boss as saying: "At the moment everything is still possible. There are no plans for an engine change at the moment."
Seidl demands explanation from Mercedes
The matter is being closely watched by the team though. "I would like Mercedes to go into detail on this," continued Seidl. "That they keep us informed of what's going on there."
"I think it makes sense for Mercedes to explain themselves in more detail about the problems they are experiencing themselves."
