Bottas keeps his spirits up: "We have to make the most of the situation"

Valtteri Bottas will have to start from ninth place in the United States Grand Prix. This is his third grid penalty for changing his combustion engine this season.
"It haunts me," Bottas said when the subject was spoken about on Ziggo Sport. "It is what it is, but I will see what I can do from ninth place."
Bottas not giving up hope
The Finn has started from ninth before at the Circuit of the Americas, something that earned him his first points for Williams at the time. "Hopefully I can get some more points than I did then," jokes Bottas.
Despite everything, he is keeping his spirits up. "We have to make the most of the situation," the Mercedes driver continued. "On the first lap, I have to take chances right away and try to gain places. We have to remain optimistic and make the most of it," he concluded.
