Hamilton contradicts Verstappen: 'I didn't find it intense at all, rather chill'

The qualifying for the United States Grand Prix had an exciting finish. It all depended on Max Verstappen's final lap. Lewis Hamilton states that he did not feel any tension.
During the press conference after qualifying, the drivers are asked how intense they experienced their last run. "I knew I had to find a bit more in the last run, so then naturally it’s a bit more exciting and this track as well," says Max Verstappen. "Once you then put the lap together as good as possible, it’s of course a nice relief."
Hamilton disagrees with Verstappen
Title rival Lewis Hamilton disagrees, in his own words. "I didn't feel it was intense at all," the Mercedes driver responded. "When you’re in the car, you’re just doing what you love doing. So, it’s pretty chill."
"I was struggling with the car a little bit and I was just trying to maximise at all the corners," he continued. "put the best lap I could together but amongst it all is a really good lap but whether or not that would have been able to really compete with their speed this weekend… I mean they were just too quick today," Hamilton concluded.
