Marko dismisses Verstappen scenario: 'That's not in his blood'

Max Verstappen's victories in the United States and Mexico have given him a nineteen point lead over Lewis Hamilton. Should he win the race in Brazil, he will lose even more ground to Hamilton. Helmut Marko however thinks that Hamilton should not be underestimated.
The seven-time world champion proved on several occasions in the past that he has great qualities, which makes him capable of overtaking Verstappen. This is also what Marko thinks, who warns the Dutchman once again. "He will go for the win in every race," he told F1-insider.com. "Paying attention to rankings and points to win the title at the end is pointless. That's not in his blood. Besides, experience shows that if you take it slower than you are used to, the margin for error can get bigger."
Strong performance in Mexico
The Red Bull Racing driver started the race in third place but managed to get past Valtteri Bottas and Hamilton at the very first corner. He then never had to worry about a single moment and took the win with flying colours.
The advisor of the Austrian formation has a lot of respect for Verstappen's performance. "Max continues to surprise us. You think he is already at his peak and then he goes one step further. It's incredible what capabilities he has at such a relatively young age."
