Hamilton outgunned: 'Max is in a very comfortable situation'

Max Verstappen was still trailing in the world championship a few races ago, but now he has a nineteen point lead over Lewis Hamilton. According to Timo Glock, the Red Bull driver, therefore, has a good chance of winning his first world title.
The former Formula 1 driver finds it hard to imagine the ways in which Verstappen could still struggle. "In my mind, there is only one option: Max and Red Bull are unlucky enough to have technical problems," Glock stated at Sky Sports Germany. "The package is too strong at the moment in my view. Sao Paulo will probably be another circuit that suits the Red Bull well. The car works very well on all types of tracks. Max is in a very comfortable situation. Red Bull is also doing everything right at the moment."
Verstappen beats Mercedes
Verstappen showed in Mexico that he is in excellent shape. The Dutchman gloriously drove past Valtteri Bottas and Hamilton in the first corner, after which he pulled away from his rival at lightning speed.
"Max clearly showed at the start, with the manoeuvre in turn one, how good he is, how aggressive he is and that he doesn't shy away from anything," he concluded. "That was an exclamation point towards the championship. That's for sure."
