Marko not worried about Verstappen: 'Fortunately doesn't affect the poor'

Helmut Marko is frustrated that Max Verstappen was fined during the Brazilian Grand Prix, but at the same time, the Red Bull Racing advisor is not worried about the Dutchman's finances.
Verstappen touched Hamilton's rear wing after qualifying on Friday, for which he was fined no less than 50,000 euros. Marko did not think the decision was entirely justified. "It's a harsh decision, but fortunately the decision doesn't affect the poor," Marko responded in conversation with ORF.
Penalty for Verstappen and Hamilton
The Austrian racing team has been at loggerheads with Mercedes' rear wing for quite some time. Red Bull noticed that the opponent was probably not acting in line with the rules, so the team of Verstappen and Sergio Perez took the problem to the race committee and were eventually proved right.
The stewards were harsh on Hamilton, who is fighting for his last chance at the world championship this weekend. The British driver was called into the office with his team and told his time in qualifying was no longer valid. It resulted in Hamilton having to start from the back position for the sprint race. He eventually finished in fifth place.
