Former teammate Verstappen stays out of it: "You fight to the end"

Max Verstappen' s move in the fourth corner of the Interlagos circuit in Brazil to defend Lewis Hamilton is still the talk of the town. Even now, with the Qatar Grand Prix just around the corner, Daniel Ricciardo still gets questions about it.
Ricciardo sees no problem
The Australian prefers to stay out of the speculation about the incident between the Mercedes driver and the Red Bull driver. Ricciardo, who was Verstappen's teammate three years ago, might have something interesting to say about Verstappen's growth. But the hoped for reaction remains absent.
At the FIA press conference, the McLaren driver says to Motorsport-magazin.com that he doesn't know if Verstappen's action was over the edge: "Who knows? I'm keeping out of it. But both drivers didn't make the corner, so you can say they both missed it. When you fight for the title, you fight to the end.”
Alonso also keeps his mouth shut
Two-time world champion Fernando Alonso did not say a word about the incident between the title rivals either. All the Spaniard has to say is: "I had gone straight from Brazil and was partly in the gym and partly at the beach, so I didn't have a chance [to watch the footage]."
