Max Verstappen completed the practice hatrick, but the gap from P2 has reduced to just two-tenths. McLaren seem to be in the best position to challenge the Dutchman during qualifying later on Saturday.
Alpine have struggled for pace all weekend and it was Pierre Gasly who brought up the rear, only able to set a best time of 1:32.199. Yuki Tsunoda was confirmed at Alpha Tauri for 2024 shortly before the session and he went 14th fastest, 1.684 down on his Red Bull counterpart.
