This part I have never understood. The hate towards Verstappen by some 3-5 people here daily. And I would not be surprised if all of them have british background/ all following british media. For me Sky Christmas celebrating video with Verstappen being pushed into the wall that took him to hospital in Silverstone sums up how British media portrays him. You know if you make this kind of celebrating video, then nothing is unclear anymore. The hate must be bigger than I can ever imagine, if you try to celebrate F1 driver being sent to hospital, this is like reaching rock bottom. But there is no surprise for me, it is all really logical. Making a villain, sells articles. Nobody wants to read F1 being one big happy family. Drama sells, not happy stories. So taking this into account, the 3-5 trolls we have here, are actually low intelligent victims of media. Intelligent person would see through these things. It is basically same as believing fake-news. I have also disliked some drivers. Like I used to be supporter of Häkkinen, so Schumacher was my anti-hero. But I never wrote any bad words about him, I may not like the guy, but I still respect him. Afterall, it is just F1. There are way more important things in life and there are real people who to hate for. Not drivers who risk their lives putting up a show for us. But talking about media, I have seen utopian F1 articles from other places as well. Like when Bottas was driving Mercedes, then every year before the season there were articles how this is gonna be Bottas year and he has really big chance for the title. Every year they had to sell lies to finnish F1 fans, that winning championship is real, so people would actually watch F1. Not making someone a villain, but still lies to make income.
