Shame, I enjoy your comments, but I can understand why you feel this way. Reading the comments above is like watching angry teenagers fight. Sad and a little pitiful.24-07-2022 13:23

Red Bull is faster on the straights the entire season, nothing new. Should be an easy race for them.23-07-2022 17:41

Well, Ferrari had bigger degradation yesterday, I say they are in worse situation.23-07-2022 17:43

Ferrari is usually good in qualifying. Race pace simulations were the major concern, I don't think they expected such high degradation compared to RB.23-07-2022 17:34

Fantastic lap by Leclerc, well done. Shame about Sainz penalty, he had a nice pace. Expect RB 1-2 tomorrow, as Ferrari's race pace seem rather poor. Good job from Lando. Shame about Schumi's lap, Haas were doing rather nice. Gasly out in Q1, how many times Alpha Tauri didn't make him do another push lap and he gets knocked out as a result? It was quite an interesting qualifying, hope the race won't be as boring as it usually is in France.23-07-2022 17:20

I guess it was inevitable. Masi didn't manage the job of race director very well. The never ending debate about track limits, inconsistencies in his decisions, overusing of red flags... He was way to easily influenced as well. Race director is a difficult job, maybe Masi was simply not a right person for it. He didn't deserve all the abuse he got from fans, though.13-07-2022 12:37

Is this even a rumour? Grid penalty for Sainz before the summer break is inevitable, and in this case better France than Hungary. Paul Ricard most likely won't be a very suitable track for Ferrari, but they don't have much choice. That engine blew up, it's completely destroyed.13-07-2022 12:25

Agree with the headline. So far there were two retirements for both Leclerc and Verstappen, but Leclerc's retirements were both more costly and with far worse consequances. RB was definitely a better car in Silverstone, it looked better in Austria on Saturday as well. If they can fix tires deg problem, Ferrari will still be a bit slower. It seems they still didn't fix the bouncing, so the new TD should hit them harder than RB. And Ferrari's reliability problems are far from over, as yesterday's race demonstrated. So Ferrari can and probably will win some races this season, but there is still only one driver who is realistically in the title fight - Max.11-07-2022 10:09

Agree with Leclerc and Verstappen's score. Hamilton's probably as well. Russell is the difficult one: in tv it looked like his fault, his onboard showed he didn't really steer into Perez. Racing incident? I'm the end Perez was out and Russell not, and because of that I can accept the penalty. What is interesting is that Perez had a very similar incident in the same spot last year, and he obviously didn't learn anything from it. I think Helmut Marko mentioned that. Gasly, what a mess... First track limits, than collision with Vettel. A race to forget, again. I think he's frustrated with Alpha Tauri's form. He has to find more patience, as he stays in the team for another year. Vettel, awful race. Not much luck for him in Austria. Sainz was performing quite well. He didn't have Leclerc's pace, but he never does, and he seemed set to take 2nd place. Such a shame, I don't think Ferrari will have many more opportunities to score 1-2. Top scores for Mick from me. I'm really impressed by him lately.11-07-2022 10:23

If that's true, then it was a bit thoughtless by RB. First they spent a chunk of their budget to make the car lighter, then they brought upgrades that return it to the previous state of overweight. What now? They can remove the upgrades, but it would be a shame as they already cost them. Also, the updates were supposed to reduce understeer. If they decide to remove the upgrades, it will be money spend on nothing. Can't let something like that happened when there's a budget cap.11-07-2022 10:01
