We could take F1 into Gaza at this stage,it doesn't matter. Some of the countries F1 is already being hosted has some of the worst human rights violations....mass executions and forced labor....just too name a few.But not to mention how some people have more rights in a lot of these countries, compared to others. Geez, too late for F1 to pretend it has grown a conscious. We all know the only thing that matters is the almighty buck.... What a joke.12-02-2025 17:45

Just give him a 1995 Mazda MX-5 and let him start at the back ...he may do better than he usually did.10-02-2025 17:12

So true. What is worse is that some of the news websites I use to get my daily dose of bad news, have now gone the subscription model. Back in the day,I didn't mind paying for the newspaper as it was factual and got me up to date. But I can't pay for these puff pieces, designed for click bait instead of content.09-02-2025 03:06

Well, you can't put the genii back in the bottle..... F1 news use to report in print the results and what happened, that was it. To a audience that read the newspaper and then tossed it,or beat the dog for humping the cat with it. Conversations about F1 was held in pubs,at home or on the phone.....you didn't say something stupid to the stranger in the pub,you behaved. Now,anyone with a phone can bring out their own biggest, baddest keyboard warrior syndrome...and now it is not on articles that report the F1 news as it happened.....but it is about puff pieces like who wore what, who is eating where, baby humps and that one driver, who retired in 76,twice removed cousin from his marriage to his sister.....having their opinion ......it is a joke.08-02-2025 18:40

I'd think Caddy would go with a US driver for the one seat and the second seat will be dictated by Ferrari as engine supplier.21-01-2025 17:10

Is this the same guy that took a selfie with a bunch of Red Bull cans, totally sure his sun would be racing for them this year? 100% sure he will be to buy his son another seat, just as I am 100% that the best Perez is,is a back marker driver. So hopefully he can give a cash injection to one of the teams at the back of the grid and at least contribute like that. His most useful contribution to F1 was the fact that his RB was constantly being craned off the track, exposing all the Adrian Newy goodies on the floor, allowing other teams to catch-up.21-01-2025 12:56

Well, hopefully not. He has the voice of a squirrel with its nuts stuck in a paper shredder and the F1 knowledge of a 5 year old, googling for information.21-01-2025 05:31

My hope for this hits a new low, when you read the SA government is going to have a hand in it.....I'd rather have a private company organize this. You can bet your backside with the government is involved, corruption will surely follow.21-01-2025 05:37

Time for the action to start, between baby hump watch report and political news,it is clear that the F1 jurno's are finding it hard to come up with anything news worthy.07-01-2025 15:42

F1, unfortunately, continues it slide into Gizmo's and gadgets. It has always been about technology, but the balance has shifted too far away from the driver and their input. I'd prefer the cars to be a lot less stable relying more on mechanical grip then aero and let the drivers reaction times, their ability to steer it both with the hands and foot be the difference.06-01-2025 22:23
