McLaren brings MCL36 to life at Woking factory

McLaren has turned on the MCL36 for the first time. The British outfit is the third team, after Mercedes and Alpine, to make the 2022 engine roar.
Under the watchful eye of CEO Zak Brown and team owner Andreas Seidl, the McLaren MCL36 is brought to life. Just like last season, McLaren will run with Mercedes engines. Judging by the many mechanics present, there is nothing wrong with the noise the engine makes.
McLaren to Continue with Ricciardo and Norris
McLaren will retain Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris as drivers in 2022. In 2021, the duo accounted for a total of five podiums, including a one-two at Monza. Norris managed to train his McLaren on pole position one Grand Prix later in Russia, the first time in nine years for the team.
