On Wednesday, it was already known that Michael Masi has been further compromised by conversations leaked between the race leader and Red Bull Racing's team manager in Abu Dhabi. Listen to the conversation for yourself here.
On Wednesday it came out that the pressure on Masi is getting worse as new talks have leaked between Jonathan Wheatley and Masi. The Red Bull Racing team manager did everything he could during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to race one more lap, which of course was in the best interest of Max Verstappen and Red Bull.

However, the proposal Wheatley makes to Masi is then completely adopted and this does cause question marks. Did Masi take this on because he was given the idea by Wheatley or was this already an idea of the race leader himself and was it a coincidence that Wheatley came up with the same idea?
For Mercedes, it will be all the more reason to look forward to the FIA's investigation that will be presented on March 18. Mercedes could also be heard talking to the race director, but compared to Red Bull, did not get a hearing.
