Verstappen takes lead from Leclerc off track after start of Las Vegas GP
Max Verstappen started on the dirty side of the track and also saw a (cleaned) oil slick in front of his starting spot, but the Red Bull Racing driver did not mind. He immediately dived past Charles Leclerc at the first corner but left the track with the Ferrari driver in the process. Red Bull believes Verstappen was in front before that moment and that he does not have to give the position back, Leclerc clearly thinks otherwise. The case will be assessed by the FIA stewards.
