Leclerc blames 'the dirt' for this FP1 crash in Baku

Charles Leclerc has crashed in the streets of Baku. The Ferrari driver won the Italian Grand Prix last weekend, but this crash could end up knocking his confidence. The man from Monaco has already identified the blame: the dirt. 

With the Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend taking place on a street circuit, dirt can often appear in FP1. It seems to have caught Leclerc out in the opening 30 minutes to the FP1 session. He said on the radio: "I took the dirt on the outside". caused the second red flag of the session. A piece of debris was found on the circuit earlier in the session. Leclerc will not be able to return to the track until FP2.
