While Lewis Hamilton had a good start for the Italian Grand Prix, Valtteri Bottas and Max Verstappen had a very bad start. The driver of Mercedes fell far back in the first lap and Verstappen himself had a lot of problems in the run to the first corner. The two McLaren drivers had a very good start.
After the first round Hamilton was comfortably in first place. Behind him were Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris in second and third place due to a very good start. Behind Norris there was soon a train with Sergio Perez, Daniel Ricciardo, Bottas and Verstappen. For the two drivers it will be important to make up for a lot of places.
