Mazepin isn't making friends in Barcelona: 'He will never change'
- GPblog.com
Nikita Mazepin has not made any friends in Barcelona. After he spun in turn eight in the opening phase of the session, he did the same a few minutes later. This time he drove in front of Charles Leclerc's car and decided to make way for the Ferrari driver at a late stage. The Leclerc was not happy with the Haas driver.
"Mazepin will never change," Leclerc said over the on-board radio. Throughout the session Mazepin was slow and also fell way short of his German teammate, Mick Schumacher. With a tricky car Mazepin won't have an easy time with the American team, but with 1.2 seconds behind his teammate it's clear something isn't right on Mazepin's side.
