It's official,
Sebastian Vettel has been disqualified and will be removed from the results for the
Hungarian Grand Prix. Aston Martin has undoubtedly presented some counter arguments, but the regulations are quite clear about this.
Vettel came to a standstill on the run-out lap because he had too little fuel on board. According to the regulations there should be at least one litre left in the tank at the end of the race so that the FIA can investigate. Now the
FIA was only able to get 0.3 litres out of the tank. In such a case the regulations leave no room for doubt: disqualification.
