On Wednesday morning the German RTL brought out that Mick Schumacher might make his debut at Friday's practice during the Grand Prix of Tuscany. With which team was not yet clear. Alfa Romeo and Haas F1 were an option but that might not be the case.
The often well-informed Chris Medland says that both Alfa Romeo and Haas won't let him ride a free practice on Friday. The teams have Ferrari engines, so there is a chance that they will give the Ferrari junior with the famous surname a spot.
If what Medland says is true, only Ferrari will remain as a possible team where Schumacher can make his debut, should the German medium be well informed. The 22 year old driver would probably take over a training from Sebastian Vettel as the German will be leaving with the Italians after this year. It seems like an unusual choice but we'll wait and see.
Update - Uncertainty about deployment Schumacher
At the moment there are contradictory reportings about the possible drive for Schumacher during FP1 on Mugello. An official announcement by the teams is not yet made.
