The weekend in Las Vegas is about to begin. On Thursday evening (local time), the drivers will take to the track for the first time, but first there are still a number of duties to be completed. In addition to a lot of marketing activities in the United States, the drivers are also expected - like every F1 weekend - to interact with the press in attendance. Max Verstappen will not appear in the press conference in Las Vegas. Of course, he will speak to the media, but it will be in the pen or hospitality of
Red Bull Racing itself. Teammate
Sergio Perez does get to tell his story in the press conference. The Mexican is undoubtedly going to be asked questions or his battle with
Lewis Hamilton for second place in the world championship.
Perez is joined by
Yuki Tsunoda,
Pierre Gasly,
Alexander Albon and also his direct rival Hamilton. These five drivers will take charge of the second part of the press conference from 06:05 UK time. Just before that,
Guanyu Zhou, Fernando Alonso,
Carlos Sainz,
Lando Norris and
Nico Hulkenberg will get a chance to speak.
The
FIA has also again invited four team bosses to a press conference between the first and second free practice sessions a day later. The team bosses of the numbers two (Mercedes), three(
Ferrari) and four(
McLaren) of the constructors' standings are in attendance, but
Christian Horner has not been put aside.
James Vowles completes the quartet on behalf of
Williams.
