Pride Month in F1 | Alpine and Mercedes call attention to LGBTQ+

This month, all over the world, extra attention is asked for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community. Pride Month has also reached Formula 1, as it has become clear that Mercedes and Alpine are also paying attention to the initiative.
LGBTQ+ has been a hotly debated topic within Formula One for some time. Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel, among others, are working hard for its acceptance. We already knew from Mercedes that the logo of the W13 would be dressed in rainbow colours, but also the helmets of George Russell and Lewis Hamilton will have this coloured star.
We also know that some changes will be made to the Alpine chassis. Possibly more teams in Formula 1 will follow on Friday.

I'm not spending MY hard earned money to have this nonsense shoved down my throat...If people "identify as lgbtq, or whatever else...WHO CARES!!! It's their business, NOT MINE!!!

Just out of curiousity, because these people have been horrifically abused by society and still are, couldn't you spare them a well wish once a year?
I don't particularly care what anyone does with anyone else in a private place between consenting adults but no one is really shoving it in your face. It may be more visible to you but they've always existed and they'd enjoy the right you and I may have, free to live our own lives as we see fit, subject to the laws of the land.
Those communities have had to live with ridicule, beatings, and murders because they weren't like what was potrayed as "normal" in society
They've been fighting the same things forever, they're just telling the uncomfortable truth over top of those who wish they'd go away, many with malice in their heart
Maybe, just maybe, however you identify, which is spare a thought for those society seems uncomfortable with.
If I can do it, why can't you? Is it a lack of compassion or what?

Respectfully we will probably agree to disagree.
Seems everywhere around every corner of society there is the lgbtq agenda shoved in "your" face. From the chyron`s, to commercials, posters, parades, etc...I/me and my family would like to have at least one day away from social engineering.
I will agree the media takes everything too far but we shouldn't put that blame on people who've been oppressed for centuries.
That's my point.
Media sees it as a "new thing to profit from" so they'll find a way to work it in at every turn. I just don't allow their tendency to be overbearing to cloud my thinking when it comes to oppression.
That's 100% the Irish in me.

I am absolutely fine when we can agree to disagree. We don't all have the same point of view and that makes us all better off, because it requires us to think.

I am sure these actions at Mercedes to be so vocal and involved in the topic is initiated by Hamilton, just like the BLM initiative, because they are things which are very close at heart to him.
so in my opinion if Lewis is gay I'd just want to say to him; you have to speed up because your team mate is beating you big time!!!!
