Perez's pit stop was the fastest of Sunday at 2.23 seconds. That is just over a tenth and a half slower than the 2023 record set in the
Spanish Grand Prix. Red Bull then changed Perez's four tyres in just 2.07 seconds.
In any case, Red Bull did good business for the DHL Fastest Pitstop Award, as number two
Ferrari picked up at the
Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. The team of Verstappen and Perez is thus 43 points ahead of its rival from Maranello. The difference between the two teams after eight Grands Prix is 73 points. Alpine follows as number three at 132 points from Red Bull.
