In 2013, living racing legend Michael Schumacher ended up in a dramatic ski accident. His situation has been very unclear ever since. The family is very fond of privacy and keeps most of it out of the press. Former team boss and friend of the German Jean Todt visited Schumacher last week.

Not many people can visit the seven-time world champion. Little is known about the situation of the driver. However, it is clear that some seven years after the accident Schumacher has still not been revalidated to maximum potential.

FIA President Jean Todt was team boss at Ferrari and calls himself friend of the driver he worked with at the time. Todt visited Schumacher's home in Zwisterland last week.

Schumacher is still fighting hard

To DailyMail, the FIA President said: "I saw Michael last week. He's still fighting. I hope the world will see him again some day. At least that's what he and his family are working hard for right now."

With his seven championships he is the greatest of all time. However, Lewis Hamilton will be able to match the German in 2020 and also win his seventh title. Todt doesn't want to react further: "After such an accident of Schumacher, does it really matter if Lewis has won more?
