During the past period, we received signals that some users were having difficulty resetting their password after transitioning to our updated GPblog platform. The problem was mainly that the reset link sometimes did not work properly or users ended up on the wrong page.

This issue has now been fully resolved, allowing you to access your old account again after resetting your password, including all previous likes and comments.

Attention: Apple mail users may still experience issues with the 'reset your password' button. In this case, manually copy the link at the bottom of the email into your browser.

Why was this necessary?

As we explained earlier in this article about the updated GPblog platform, for security reasons, every account had to set a new password once. Old passwords were not carried over during the transition.

Here's how you can regain access to your account immediately:

  1. Go to the homepage of GPblog.
  2. Click on 'Login' in the top right corner.
  3. Choose 'Forgot password?'
  4. Enter the email address you normally use to log in.
Attention: If you ever used Facebook, then enter the email address linked to your Facebook account.
  5. You will receive an email to reset your password.
  6. Follow the link in the email and set your new password.

After that, you will immediately be back in your familiar account, including all previously posted comments, upvotes, and your profile information.
