It is late November and so it is already almost 2024 in the F1 world. In less than 100 days, the Bahrain Grand Prix, next year's season opener, is already on the schedule. This is reflected in the number of updates the Formula 1 teams have brought to Abu Dhabi this weekend.

There aren't many of them. At all racing teams, the focus is entirely on developing the 2024 car and it makes no sense to reserve a budget for further development of the car that will only be used for one Grand Prix.

Alfa Romeo has a new front wing, Aston Martin focuses on the rear wing and the beam wing, which have undergone some changes. At AlphaTauri, the floor has undergone some updates. The other teams didn't take anything.

It may be the last Grand Prix, but the stakes are still high in the constructors' championship. Mercedes defend a four-point lead over Ferrari in the battle for second place. McLaren battles with Aston Martin for fourth place. The difference (in favour of McLaren) is eleven points.

The battle for P7 in the championship is still open. Williams has so far collected 28 points, the number eight AlphaTauri has 21 points and could possibly climb over the British racing stable with a strong weekend. Not many updates this weekend, but we will certainly see a battle for (tens of) millions of euros!
