Hill done with whining Hamilton fans: "Do yourself a favour"
- GPblog.com
Damon Hill has had enough of Lewis Hamilton's fans whining that the world title was taken away from the seven-time world champion by the FIA at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. According to the former Formula 1 driver, it is time to put the subject to rest and accept the result.
The 1996 world champion has made his opinion clear on Twitter. He says Hamilton fans should do themselves a favour by getting over it. Hanging on to the disappointment is no solution, according to him.
Hill has message for Hamilton fans
If you are a Hamilton fan, do yourself a favour and get over it because its not coming back. Ever. Look forward to seeing @LewisHamilton sock it to 'em in 2022. Winners don't constantly bleat on about how unfair it all is. Show some backbone. Queue hate .... #f1

Hill hopes that Hamilton will return to Formula 1 in 2022 and once again be able to blow away his rivals on the track. Whether the Mercedes driver will actually step into the W13 is still uncertain. According to rumours, Hamilton will not decide on his future career in Formula 1 until the FIA has concluded its investigation into the conduct of the race committee at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
