Perez looked back in the evening satisfied with the race day and could not wait to get back into the car on Saturday. In the interview with the Dutch medium he also announced something new. "We are not working on fast laps yet," he informed. "That will come on Saturday on the last day of testing. Then Max and I both have half a day. There will also be something new to see on the car then."
Gasly does well in Bahrain
Pierre Gasly surprised on Thursday by recording the fastest time. The Frenchman has had a rock-solid season at AlphaTauri and hopes to follow it up well in 2022. It should contribute to him being able to move to a better Formula One team in the future.
