Leclerc getting used to disappointment in Monaco
In conversation with Sky Sports after the race, Leclerc said that mistakes can be made, but that Ferrari made too many on Sunday in Monte Carlo. "I am getting used to going back home disappointed," the Monegasque said of his continued bad luck in his home race.
He speaks of a 'clearly wrong decision' by his team to bring him in at that moment. This was also reflected in the panicked radio message addressed to the Monegasque, who would not have been aware of the plan to go to intermediates.
