Alesi agrees with Leclerc: 'There is enough time to recover'

Despite his recent crashes, Charles Leclerc continues to believe in the World Championship. Jean Alesi agrees with him. The former Formula One driver thinks Ferrari still have plenty of opportunities to recover.
Ferrari have faced several reliability problems in recent races. Alesi believes there are still plenty of opportunities in the championship. Leclerc must remain positive about his chances.
"Leclerc is right to show optimism. Such a tight championship puts pressure on the gearboxes, engines, hydraulics, everything. Technical problems will follow for every team," the former driver wrote in his column for Corriere Della Sera.
Ferrari can recover
Leclerc had to start from the back of the grid during the Canadian Grand Prix. The Monegasque had to replace several parts of his Ferrari after the crash in Baku. He eventually finished fifth, but Alesi believes he could have secured a podium finish if Ferrari had not made a slow pit stop.
"We are not even halfway through the championship yet. There is still plenty of time to recover, starting with the next round at Silverstone, a circuit that rejoices champions," said the former Ferrari driver.
