The British Grand Prix provided plenty of spectacle and a new winner. Carlos Sainz stood on the top step of the podium for the first time in his Formula One career. Sergio Perez and Lewis Hamilton both finished on the podium after an intense battle in the closing laps of the race.

Verstappen in seventh place

Charles Leclerc finished just outside the podium after a long stint driving on old hard tyres. He was just able to keep Fernando Alonso behind him. Max Verstappen had a disappointing race and finished in seventh place with a damaged RB18.
A very heavy crash at the start of the race meant that Alexander Albon, Guanyu Zhou and George Russell were forced out of the race. There were three more dropouts in the end. The many dropouts meant an immediate opportunity for the rearguard teams. Mick Schumacher managed to score points for the first time and Kevin Magnussen and Sebastian Vettel also finished in the points.

Driver of the day must be Leclerc or Perez.

Leclerc drove better with broken front wing than Sainz. Says it all really.

And all race I didn't see Perez, made some tortillas in the kitchen and boom dude is 2nd.

Alonso also good job, best of the rest. And even Latifi got a decent 12th place. Finally overtaking Hülkeneberg in the standings, nobody can't ask anymore what it feels like to be a 21st in the standings in 20 driver battle. :D

I would say Perez, yes Leclerc drove around with an broken wing, but that the wing was broken was his own making, Perez making it all the way from the back to P2 is amazing. Also how he defended against Hamilton and leclerc that fight was epic.

Well done Mick Schumacher. I thought Max was a little tough with him at times pushing him off the track on several occasions but was good to watch Mick attacking back and not giving up

Have to agree with you, not only did he get those points that have been coming for some time now but he showed the haas team, Ferrari, in fact all teams and the whole world that he has the mentality and given the right equipment, the speed to compete against the world champion.
