- GPblog.com
The Dutch Grand Prix will start in two days with the first two free practices. While Friday will most likely be a dry day, Saturday and Sunday might be a different story.
According to Weather.com Friday will be partly cloudy with temperatures hovering around 26 degrees, which will give the Formula 1 drivers a good first day. One day later, however, is a completely different story.
During the third free practice and qualifying session, there is a 73 percent chance of precipitation on the track. Although this will be light rain, it could still provide the necessary spectacle. The temperature is not expected to exceed 23 degrees on this day.
Substantial chance of rain race on Sunday
The Formula 1 teams have to prepare for heavy afternoon showers on Sunday. There is a 36 percent chance of precipitation on the track on this day, but according to the forecasts this possibility is even more plausible in the afternoon. It will not be easy for the drivers to get their cars across the finish line. The temperature on the final day of the race will be around 24 degrees maximum.
