Vettel congratulates Verstappen: 'Was very clear after the first few races'

Max Verstappen receives many congratulations from his colleagues after his title victory in the Japanese Grand Prix. For Sebastian Vettel, it was clear after the first few races that the Dutchman would run away with the title.
At the start of the season, Verstappen dropped out twice due to reliability problems, but soon the Red Bull Racing driver came back strongly. In the end, Ferrari could mean nothing in the championship battle.
Vettel happy for his old team Red Bull
"He was very dominant, it was very clear after the first couple of races it was going that way. He still needed to the job and he didn't lose the focus at any point, so well done to him and to the team", Vettel says on F1 TV.
Vettel himself won his four world titles with Red Bull's team. The German is therefore still a good acquaintance within the team. "I still know a lot of people there so I'm very happy for them." In two weeks time, Red Bull is also likely to take the constructors' title at the United States Grand Prix.
