Wolff stresses: 'That is the most important thing'

Mercedes has had a tough season. The German team got used to competing for the world title from 2014, but has not even managed a Grand Prix victory this season. Toto Wolff hopes the team will still be able to do so in the last two races, he told Motorsport.com.
Despite the down year in racing, Mercedes still has plenty to fight for. Among other things, the Germans can add second place in the constructors' championship to their names, although to do so they must first settle with Ferrari.
It seems wonderful for Wolff to beat Ferrari, but for the team boss, other things count. "The most important thing is to master the car and have a fast car on the track," he stated in conversation with the Medium.
Mercedes was close on several occasions
In recent months, Mercedes managed to fight itself handsomely among the top teams. The team was close to a GP victory on several occasions in recent race weekends, but each time it fell just short. With the races in Brazil and Abu Dhabi, Mercedes has two more chances to go into the new season feeling good.
