Work on the new Endurance grandstand at Spa-Francorchamps is progressing quickly. The circuit is currently busy with some renovation work, with the aim of making the Belgian Grand Prix a more attractive event.
The circuit's social media shows how the new grandstand is starting to take shape. The grandstand is located on the stretch connecting La Source to the iconic corner combination of Eau Rouge/Raidillon.
Spa-Francorchamps construction work progressing fast
In December, track director Amaury Bertholomé announced that work on the Endurance area had started. "With the works to be completed during the winter break of 2022-2023, the Circuit continues its momentum in regards to keeping its facility at the top of capacity and at a global level of excellence," he stated on the official website of the circuit.
Necessary changes are also being made to the paddock to "host event and sporting competition organisers in optimal conditions". In addition, the infrastructure at the circuit is being worked hard on, after some parts of the track became flooded in previous years as a result of flooding.
