Three car launches are scheduled in the second week of February. Williams, Alfa Romeo and AlphaTauri will present their cars for 2023. You can read what to expect from them here.
At 14:00 UK time (or 15:00 CET) on Monday 6 February, Williams will present the FW45 for the 2023 F1 season. The car driven by Alexander Albon and debutant Logan Sargeant is expected to feature a Gulf livery. The iconic F1 sponsor has been linked to the British team for a return to the sport.
Car launch for 2023
Williams are opting for an actual car presentation at their own factory this year. So chances are that James Vowles' team will also involve a real car and not a computer animation. Vowles himself will not be present at the presentation. He only starts with the team on 20 February.
Alfa Romeo are second in line this week, holding an online presentation on Tuesday 7 February at 09:00 UK time [10:00 CET]. Whether this will actually show the new C43 is still uncertain. It will be particularly interesting to see whether Audi are already visible on the car and how much space title sponsor Stake gets on the new car.
On Saturday 11 February, AlphaTauri, like Red Bull Racing, will present their challenger in New York. Whereas Red Bull took European followers into account, that is less the case with AlphaTauri. Indeed, the Italian team's presentation is not until 10:30pm UK time [11:30pm CET]. Again, the main focus is likely to be on the AT04's new livery. Nyck de Vries and Yuki Tsunoda will also be present.
