Alpine drives A523 at Silverstone ahead of car launch

Alpine will be the last team to present the new car on 16 February, but that did not stop the formation from sending the A523 onto the track as early as Monday. The French racing stable showed a first photo on its own Twitter channel.
On Thursday 23 to Saturday 25 February, Formula 1 teams will have three test days to try out their cars. Until then, however, they are working hard behind the scenes to get off to the best possible start.
Haas F1, Red Bull Racing, Williams, Alfa Romeo, AlphaTauri and McLaren meanwhile announced the exterior of their new car. While Aston Martin, Ferrari and Mercedes will follow in the coming days, Alpine will be the last team.

Alpine hopeful for new season
Alpine will be keen to start the calendar year well with Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon. Last season, it still managed to beat McLaren and finish fourth among constructors, behind Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes.
