Dutch F1 fans now have Nyck de Vries to cheer for alongside Max Verstappen, but there is a chance of a uniqueness for the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. Indeed, it is possible that Dutch F2 driver Richard Verschoor will drive a practice session.

Then no less than three Dutchmen will take part in the Dutch Grand Prix. A commitment seems to have been made by Haas F1 team boss Guenther Steiner. If the conditions are met, there is a good chance Verschoor will drive an F1 practice at Zandvoort in a Haas.
F1 journalist Jack Plooij said on the Friday of the Saudi GP weekend at Ziggo RaceCafé: "A very special statement came from Steiner. He said: 'I am talking to Ferrari in the coming weeks. If they don't claim Zandvoort then I give you a big chance." For Verschoor, that means he will have to get lucky and that Ferrari will not let a driver from its own talent class drive during the Dutch GP weekend.
