Christian Horner is not sure of a good start for Max Verstappen in Melbourne but believes his driver has a big advantage, however, insists it will be a tough race for Sergio Perez.

Verstappen took pole in Melbourne on Saturday, but at the start in Jeddah, Perez still lost that spot to Fernando Alonso after the lights went out. Asked by Viaplay if Horner is worried about this in Australia, it appears he is not 100 per cent sure of his case.

Verstappen under pressure?

''You can never be completely sure about that. We do start on the best side of the grid, on the clean side and we are going to try to use that advantage after yesterday (qualifying),'' said the Red Bull Racing team boss.

For Perez, Horner says it will be a tough race. Is the top six achievable? ''That would be optimal. It's hard to overtake here, it's not like Bahrain or Jeddah. If he gets near the top six, that would be a great ride,'' the Brit concludes.
