Horner not affected by departure of Red Bull chief: 'We are stronger now'

Speaking to Sky Sports , Red Bull team boss Christian Horner has elaborated on Dan Falllows' move to Aston Martin. The talented aerodynamics specialist received an offer in 2021 to make the transfer to the British racing stable a year later, to become its new technical director. The former Red Bull chief did not let this opportunity slip away.
From 2006 to 2022, the Briton was on the Austrian payroll. During his time with the energy drink manufacturer, Fallows captured multiple podiums, victories and world titles with his team. A promotion to 'head of aerodynamics' followed in 2014. It was therefore a surprise within the Red Bull ranks when Fallows announced his departure for Aston Martin.
'Stronger now than they were then'
Still, according to Horner, it has not worked out badly for his racing stable: "I'm pleased for Dan that he's doing a good job, but his departure has given other engineers an opportunity and everything's about evolution," Horner says. Indeed, according to the team boss, Red Bull has not been affected by Fallows' departure. " The team we have now is even stronger than the one we had two years ago," he stated.
